She straightened. “Why?”

“I just thought it would be nice.”

Then you should’ve asked. Adrian leaned back again, her frustration quickly dissipating. They pulled into Joanne’s and Adrian struggled to walk without feeling dizzy. She wasn’t totally blasted but she knew she was close.

“Here, let me help you,” Joanne said as they stepped inside the door. She knelt to untie Adrian’s shoes. “Hold on to my shoulders.”

Adrian did and Joanne slipped off her boots. Then she quickly unzipped and pulled off her own before crossing into the kitchen. She removed a cold bottle of water and two glasses.

“Let’s go sit.” She handed Adrian her glass and led the way to the couch. “Come here,” she said to Adrian as she patted the cushion next to her. Adrian hesitated.

“Maybe I should just go.”

“No, don’t be silly. You just got here.” She tugged on Adrian’s hand and faced her as she finally sat. “How are you feeling?”

“Fine.” That wasn’t a lie. She did feel good. She just wished she was at home feeling good.

Joanne touched her face, traced the outline of her forehead down to her jaw.

“I like the way you look, Adrian. So sexy.”

Adrian’s eyes fluttered, Joanne’s touch so luring and seductive.

“And I love the way you respond to me in bed.” She leaned in and kissed Adrian, following the path of her fingertips, delicate lips skimming across Adrian’s forehead, temple, and jawline.

The light, repetitive caresses brought gooseflesh to life along Adrian’s skin. She inhaled sharply and trembled as Joanne’s hair tickled her along with her lips.

“I want to worship you, Adrian.”

“But—”

Joanne hushed her with a kiss, taking Adrian’s lips in her own to pull and tease. When she pushed in with her tongue Adrian couldn’t help but moan and nearly crumbled beneath her.

“Yes, Adrian. Just let me,” Joanne whispered just before kissing her deeply once again. Soon Adrian was being led down the hall and into the bedroom. A large ball was in her throat, bobbing in tune with
